We are a secondhand bookshop in central Ballarat. We love reading books, talking about books and helping other booklovers find the right book. We provide comfy chairs so you can peruse your books at leisure. Our shop is also used for special events, like music gigs and book launches.
We have around 15,000 books on our shelves but that is only part of the picture. Our online shop contains a sample of our rarer and more unique books. Books listed here can be bought directly online.
Looking for a particular title or author? Our online catalogue shows several thousand of our more recent additions. Or you can contact us and we will look for the book for you.
Whatever your tastes, we'll try to have a book for you. We have everything from rare and unique treasures to bargain paperbacks. We also stock a selection of new titles by interesting local and regional indie authors.
We hate the idea that some books get thrown out. It's such a waste! The vast majority of books can find another home if given a chance. If you have books you no longer need, we'll do our best to help.
